Our Excalibur Review
We really liked our stay at Excalibur. No one thing was exceptional, but as a bundle, the place was really fun, relaxed and friendly for our family of five. There was plenty to do for kids, which was really nice, and there were lots of other families there, so we felt really comfortable. The pool scene was fun for families and singles. We all seemed to mingle together in the hot tubs because the main pool was a bit cool for adults. The kids didn't mind the cooler big pool. We didn't like the pool closing at 5 p.m. because it just got warm enough to swim around 3 p.m.
The arcade was great with the Spongebob 4D rides, the Tournament of the Kings was really good, the $25 all you can eat all day was excellent, the free drink vouchers and free drinks at tables were also a bonus.
Our rooms were average, but hey, we were hardly in them. We paid for a view room the first night so we could get the two for one Tournament of the Kings vouchers. The room had a beautiful view of the NY NY roller coaster and part of the strip, and it had a big screen TV, but there was no cable, so it wasn't really worth it. We downgraded to Tower 1 the following nights, which were next to the bar we liked but far far away from the pool. It was embarrassing walking through the casino in our swimmers, but everyone else was doing it so we didn't care so much.
After staying at Excalibur I decided to create a web site called Family Friendly Las Vegas at http://www.familyfriendlylasvegas.com.

I just got back from Vegas and stayed at the Flamingo. I do not recommend for children. The pool is a madhouse. People from other hotels are allowed to use their pool and it is so crowded. The staff at the Flamingo is not very friendly either.
